On Monday evening we hosted a wonderfully serene event at the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch, alongside our friends at Patternity.

While madness reigned outside thanks to the trials and tribulations of the England football game taking place concurrently, those in the know were getting gently stuck into a (plant)life-drawing class.
So much of our time is spent staring at screens in some form or another - Monday night was about switching off from that digital world and looking closely at the amazing details of things we pass everyday without taking a second glance. A combination of short drawing exercises and two longer sessions saw us (and our guests) focusing on our plant models in both the macro and the micro, exploring the amazing patterns and formations that appear in the natural world. Some of the drawings even turned out not-too-terrible!
